4Medica iEHR Software was founded in 1998 as a Healthcare IT Company to assist healthcare organizations such as large hospitals, ambulatory services, laboratories, care delivery organizations, and private practices. Integrated Electronic Health Records (EHR) by 4Medica is the primary product and aims to build upon an organization’s pre-existing technologies to ensure the health connectivity needed to address Meaningful Use requirements.

4Medica iEHR is Meaningful Use compliant and CCHIT certified. The company provides 24/7 customer support in case a client needs assistance. The web-based SaaS allows practitioners to access their patient files and billing software on handheld devices and mobile phones.

4Medica also offers Total Care Billing. It covers a wide range of functions from billing including account management, eligibility checking, payment processing, denial management, electronic charge, audit, and claims processing to patient management including scheduling, patient collection, and follow-ups.

4Medica iEHR Software provides care providers with single-screen access to patient data, diagnostic results, and prescription history. It also allows for greater data sharing within the practice as well as from one practice to another. Patient information can be shared with laboratories through a lab interface, prescription history and requirements can be exchanged with pharmacies through e-prescribing (e-Rx), diagnostic information sharing with integration with diagnostic and imaging equipment, and entire files can be sent discreetly to other physicians through secure messaging.

    Pros: Dealing with the staff of 4medica iEHR EMR Software was wonderful. The software itself is amazing too.

    Cons: It does not help sourcing out and they said that they are going to do something about it.

    Verdict: It has been over a year we have been using it and we would still like to stick to it for as long we can.

    Pros: I do billing for multiple providers and one of them had the practice management software that I have bought 4medica iEHR EMR Software. And it works brilliant.

    Cons: Every time I switch practice management systems, there are always glitches and it is something perhaps bound to happen.

    Verdict: I prefer this one over all the others I use.

    Pros: We chose 4medica iEHR EMR over the many we considered. We like all of its features but the calendar is the best of all.

    Cons: We are not much happy with how long it takes for them to get the stuff done.

    Pros: This is way better than our previous EMR. It is very user-friendly and has made billing super easy for us.

    Cons: The EDI agreements part was confusing.

    Pros: We looked at so many practice management systems because our previous EHR software went out of business. With this one, it is amazing how I am able to take my work with me wherever I go, so. If I go for conferences, I never fall behind. It is definitely good product.

    Cons: I do not like some of the automated options in 4medica iEHR.

    Verdict: A really great option.

    Pros: The support is quite good. They get the problem handled very well, we also get back and forth emails to some of them.

    Cons: It was hard to get my other two employees fully trained we had to do it during the daytime.

    Verdict: A good software. Would recommend.

    Pros: We took over with the 4medica iEHR EMR Software and however, it was so different from the other that we are approve we are very satisfied with it.

    Cons: We have faced issues and are waiting for it to get resolved.

    Verdict: Good for a solo practice like mine.

    Pros: We use 4medica iEHR EMR Software for billing insurance and finding alternative solutions. It works very smoothly and we really like it.

    Cons: Not helpful support.

    Verdict: You get full-service package from this Software.

    Pros: We are a small practice and we do family and general practice. 4medica iEHR is very nice and helpful.

    Cons: Some features are quite complicated like scheduling, my staff has had a tough time getting used to it.

    Verdict: Great potential, but needs some improvement!
