The telemedicine platform came to the forefront of care during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide effective remote care solutions to patients of all ages. Generally, there is a misconception attached to telehealth that older adults prefer in-person visits as compared to virtual care options. This myth was busted when a study<\/a> published in the Journal of the American Geriatric Society (AGS) found that adults 65 years and over have been relatively satisfied with telemedicine solutions throughout the pandemic and wanted continued access to virtual care.<\/p>\n

Adoption of telemedicine software<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Due to restrictions on in-person visits at the doctor\u2019s office, patients and healthcare providers turned to the robust Telemedicine EMR Software<\/a> solution.
