Greenway Health PrimeSUITE EHR Software offers many software options for medical practices. Though each has its specific focus, they are still capable of being integrated into one system as multiple modules. The core of the Greenway Electronic Health Records (EHR) software product line is creating a balanced structure to manage the priorities of clinical, administrative and financial solutions.

Greenway Health PrimeSuite is an ambulatory software that provides clinical, financial, and administrative tools and services to clinics and medical practices. Greenway Health offers both on-site servers and cloud-based Electronic Medical Records Software (EMR software). Users are free to choose from one or the other. Cloud-based users of Greenway Health PrimeSuite EMR Software can access files, finish evaluating and writing notes and reports, or send in billing claims even when they aren’t in the clinic. This allows a clinician’s functionality to be flexible and continuous, and not restrained by office timings or space.

Greenway Health EHR PrimeSuite is ICD-10 compliant and certified for Meaningful Use Stages 1 and 2. It is also pre-validated to offer points toward NCQA patient-centered medical home (PCMH) recognition.

Greenway Health PrimeSuite is suitable for not only clinical documentation and primary care, but also supports specialty-specific EMR software including more than 4,000 sharable and customizable templates, ICD coding, and integration with any diagnostic equipment and imaging software.

PrimeSuite EMR Software is primarily used as a tool to measure and improve value-driven care outcomes and workflow improvement. The Greenway Health product line is designed to be user-centric, with supporting decision making at direct points of care as its priority.

    Pros: Greenway EMR software is easy to learn and navigate, which has enhanced the overall user experience. The patient portal platform offered by Greenway has helped to keep patients stay engaged.

    Cons: The appointment scheduling capability needs improvement. It is not possible to edit the appointment date and time once it is scheduled.

    Cons: Training tutorials for new products are not that helpful.

    Pros: Its been really easy to learn, especially with basic knowledge of computers. Its also nice to have different ways of contacting the tech support.

    Cons: With my experience so far, I would say that the reports can just get a little difficult. it can be easy to use the wrong one.

    Verdict: We started our practice way back and in the long-run greenway has proven to be a great choice for an EMR.

    Cons: Most forms and notes are better suited for some specialities. Not that versatile.

    Pros: Its easy to understand the software and how its meant to be used. The reports side of it is also great, since you can bring up multiple different, useful reports.

    Cons: Inability to print account numbers or names on printouts from the account screen. It would be much more helpful to have the option to print either if needed.

    Verdict: I think Greenway has made an okay choice for an EMR but given time and with improvements, I can easily see this being invaluable to some practices.

    Pros: The cloud based software has allowed for a very easy transition. Offers a lot of options with integrating facilities.

    Cons: Mainly the price.

    Verdict: Overall i think the value for the money spent is worth it. Weve had it for nearly 5 years and I would highly recommend it.

    Pros: If you can work with a DOS, then that would definitely be a plus since it gives more control and can program and design your own forms.

    Cons: It is pretty expensive for an emr software, as you have to pay separately for the add-ons.

    Verdict: Offers a lot of features but you have to pay extra for some of them.

    Cons: Customer support needs to improve their system since it takes too long to get a response. Trying to figure out how to customize reports has been pretty hard too.

    Pros: Its a very dynamic program and covers all the needs of a typical family practice.

    Cons: Setting up the program takes a lot of time and was really hard to understand at the start.

    Verdict: Its a given that all EMRs take a bit of time and effort to implement properly, so we feel we made the right decision to go with Greenway.

    Pros: The patients are able to access, add to, and receive their medical information at any time convenient for them.

    Cons: At times, some patients tend to misread medical terminology and test results. I think the software as a whole could do with some optimizations, just takes too many clicks some times.

    Verdict: It can be a good EHR but I just don't get why some things cant be simpler.

    Pros: The software suits our specialty. Most interfaces are easy to read and its easily customizable.

    Cons: The reports could be improved, it feels like it lacks in some areas.

    Verdict: Overall PrimeSuite has been extremely user friendly and has just integrated better than other EHRs, for our speciality.

    Pros: It does offer some nice functionality and features, on paper at least.

    Cons: Its been pretty difficult to actually learn how to use it, there are long wait times on customer support and I think its just not worth it.

    Pros: Love that you can track just about anything anyone does. It is very detailed and fairly easy once you get through the learning process.

    Cons: Takes quite a while to really understand and get the hang of the software and there are several ways to do most things.

    Verdict: Too many clicks for some things, but can be worthwhile to get into. Might be worth watching the demo.

    Pros: I liked the software because I found it totally customizable. Making templates was fairly easy and I could even import a template from another practice into the software. I was able to make most of my own templates which helped the doctors to feel more accustomed to the software. It also lets you track almost everything, which is super helpful.

    Cons: Greenway rep team can help you solve issues, but the response time is not ideal. There were instances where it took weeks before I got a reply from them.

    Verdict: Being able to contact the support team is essential, especially in the case of an emergency, but if you put that aside, you have a solid EHR solution.

    Pros: The tech support was quick to help with some of the issues we were facing.

    Cons: Navigating the software became a little complicated, with how many features there are. Our staff needed to learn quite a bit in order to get comfortable and use it properly, but it ultimately proved to be very useful.

    Verdict: Nice software with too many options. Before buying, I would really suggest consulting practices that have experience with the software or maybe watch a demo.

    Pros: Very nice to have and EHR that offers patient charts, a scheduler along with billing under one roof. Templates are more than easy to tweak and customer support is really helpful.

    Cons: The appointment and scheduling windows are too small. You have to pay for the patient portal, mobile access, as well as some other features which can be a little inconvenient.

    Verdict: Its good to have an EHR that ticks all the boxes, offering a solution for practice management, an EMR as well as a patient portal. So despite the price, I think its worth it, to ensure you support the needs of the user.
