MDoffice EMR Software is a cloud-based software suite consists of Electronic Health Records (EHR) Software and Practice Management System (PM) which is designed to meet the clinical and operational requirements of practice and also simplify the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) side of it. Established in 1984 is a company that has created an integrated practice suit that manages medical records and office administration.
The EMR allows physicians to tailor their own charts. Physicians can create their own problem-specific forms and use self-created phrases to detail encounters. Records of lab findings, notes, prescribed medication, vitals, allergies, and images can be organized easily, without a hassle. Doctors can also draw and take notes or mark directly on standard drawings, or insert drawings/images into their notes and patient charts.
The practice management software helps streamline workflow and boost practice efficiency. Users can easily track patients, manage patient information, claims, referrals and schedules. Administrators can register patients using their current billing information and change, reserve and also block spots for appointments using the scheduler. From the time of putting in charges to claim processing, billing and collections MDoffice’s business tools help reduce errors. Billing personnel can post bills and receive remittances electronically. Users can also create a patient and payer list and automate reminders for commitments that haven’t been fulfilled. Office managers are able to monitor practice performance and manage their financial success by pulling reports that are generated from daily office routines.
The ‘MDoffice Designer’ is a feature that allows users to customize the appearance of the software and the way it works. Providers can also add vocabulary related to their medical specialty to report histories, problems, complaints, assessments, diagnoses, medications, procedures and lab results. Providers can also chat on the go using the MDoffice mobile app called ‘MDM’. The application allows optometrists, and ophthalmologists to access records and charts using an iPhone or an iPad.
MDoffice has been providing RCM services to the ophthalmic industry. By opting for RCM services practices can focus more on patient care, reduce errors, improve cash flow and increase revenue.
MDoffice’s patient portal enables patients to connect with their care teams and view information documented during their office visits. Patients can view lab results, request refills and book appointments online, communicate with the practice through secure messaging and access health resources and educational material.

Pros: Easy to train on, support is top notch. This is the first software we chose for our organization and we are so impressed and grateful as it has turned out to be just what we wanted.
Cons: Upgrades cause lags sometimes, system has bugs and kinks that come up.

Pros: It is a great software system. It is so easy and convenient to customize. I also love the fact that you can check your schedule on our devices.
Cons: Customer support! You will always be put on hold for way too long and once you actually talk to someone they are not helpful.
Verdict: The software is really good but needs to improve the support.
