It has been especially designed for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practices. Its unique functioning system makes it suitable for all kinds of medical documentation, ranging from small practices to medium practices or even hospitals. Other features include Phoenix Kiosk (Tablet-Based Patient Intake App), iPhax (Electronic Fax), Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) and is HIPAA compliant. All its features are customizable to meet the needs of Orthopaedic surgeons, Practice Managers, Physical Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Sports Medicine.

Phoenix Ortho EHR Software has simplified PT/OT documentation for easy billing calculations & automated incentive reporting. Thanks to this multifaceted IT software, all areas of a medical practice can now be recorded more efficiently. Processes such as documentation, patient messaging, image integration, and e-prescribing have become extremely convenient and easy to reach. Its unique functioning system makes it suitable for all kinds of medical facilities, ranging from individual clinics, small practices, medium practices, or even large hospitals.

Phoenix Ortho Electronic Health Records (EHR) Software offers you the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) Process, which allows the medical professionals to record a patient’s medical history, family history, and other social habits without the staff having to enter any of this information manually. It is easy to implement the EMR system individually, but Phoenix Ortho EMR Software further offers an integrated package consisting of RIS and PACS. The software comes without any templates, as its distinctive design targets mainly orthopedics.

Data entry could not get any easier because of Phoenix Ortho EHR Software’s exclusive features such as Voice Dictation, Point, and Click, or Traditional Transcription. Digital MRIs and x-rays can also be easily incorporated into medical records.  The multitude of components makes this software any physician’s dream, as it is extremely easy to use and get adapted to.

Phoenix Orthopaedic EHR Software is HIPAA compliant, so it not only improves the Data Exchange but also makes it the most reliable, scalable, and secure EHR. To further facilitate the Data Entry “Smart Lists” can be created which depict the most commonly selected items by the physician during his dealings with the patients. These include Medications, Diagnoses, and Orders.

Phoenix Ortho EMR Software Solution is also ONC-ATCB certified. For all the medical practices looking for a quality Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System designed especially for Orthopedics, Phoenix Ortho EHR might be the perfect fit.

Pros: This EHR does exactly what I need it to do without making things harder. Charting is smooth and the workflow makes sense for orthopedics. Training my staff did not take long.

Cons: Customer service is not always responsive. Had a billing sync issue last month that took time to fix.

Verdict: I am generally happy with this system and would recommend it to other ortho clinics. Some hiccups but nothing deal breaking.

Pros: Phoenix Ortho has been a helpful tool in keeping my ortho charts organized. The templates save time and are built with our specialty in mind. My staff learned it pretty fast which was a relief.

Cons: It does freeze sometimes and needs restarting. Would like more customization options.

Verdict: Good for orthopedic practices who want something that mostly works out of the box. Not perfect but it gets the job done.

Pros: I like that it is tailored for orthopedics and has tools I actually use. Notes are faster now and I spend less time documenting.

Cons: Tech support has been disappointing at times. Some updates seem to cause more problems than they fix.

Verdict: It works fine for the most part but I do wish support was better. Not the best but better than a lot of generic EHRs out there.
