Prime Healthcare and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and automation company Steer Health have announced a strategic partnership to enhance patient outcomes and care access. The enterprise collaboration aims to create a next-generation customer experience for Prime Healthcare’s 45 hospitals and 300 outpatient locations in 13 states.
Benefits of the automation-based consumer-engaged platform
As per the healthcare partnership, Prime Healthcare will launch a platform named PrimeHealthNow, which has leveraged Steer Health’s patient engagement tools to help patients throughout their care journey and coordinate care.
A personalized consumer experience will be offered to patients via the platform. PrimeHealthNow provides AI-enabled two-way texting, live customer navigation, and 24/7 access to virtual care options. When the patients will use the platform they can easily make online reservations for urgent care and primary care appointments and even emergency room visits.
Platform implementation goals
The goal of implementing the consumer-engaged platform is to reduce costs of care and improve patient outcome levels which is the ultimate goal of healthcare delivery. Another aim of the platform implementation is to close any gaps in care, extending the provider’s reach and engagement capabilities. The platform also offers real-time feedback on patient experience which is vital to keep patients satisfied.
By partnering with Steer Health the healthcare organization can improve efficiency levels so the caregivers and staff members can focus on what they love to do which is taking care of the patient. This can provide an opportunity for clinicians to offer high-quality patient care at all times.
AI and care management
Prime Healthcare will deploy the PrimeHealthNow platform with Steer Health’s complete suite of products at all of its hospitals to streamline workflows and enhance health outcome levels. The partnership will enable to seamlessly integrate AI automation, improve the efficiency of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Software and data analytics into care management strategies that can benefit both the patients and the hospital system. By using Artificial Intelligence automation the hospital can effectively close care gaps for patients.
